Fundrazr Campaign: Help Irene Regain Her Independence!
Even though Public transportation in Norway is among the best in the
world, Irene cannot utilize this resource due to her various ailments.
She is often left housebound, bored, unable to every day tasks and chase
her dreams. Irene’s boyfriend has a car but without a license it is of
no use to her. She is left feeling isolated, going to bed each night
wishing she would wake up with a clean bill of health. Unfortunately
reality kicks in, knowing that the day ahead of her is going to be like
every other day, stuck in her house waiting for her boyfriend to come
home so she can go shopping to buy food and escape the four walls that
surround her all day long. After hearing about FundRazr a (crowdfunding platform),
Irene turned to the web to tell her story with the hopes of raising
awareness on the every day struggles people across Norway with health
problems. She is also trying to raise the funds needed in order for her
to regain the freedom she once had and purchase her drivers license.
